We’re fresh off our review of Crystalina, the light-up fairy, and the trend of all things fairies continues to grow throughout this year. This time around one of the most anticipated toys is Got2Glow Fairy Finder. Here’s everything we know (so far).
What’s Got2Glow Fairy Finder All About Anyway?!
From the folks who brought you Fingerlings (you remember that craze, right?!) comes a pretty fun new in-person and virtual trend where your kids can actually catch virtual fairies in their electronic fairy jar. And, yes, that is all actually a thing.
They’ll simply open up the lid of their magical fairy jar and look for hidden virtual fairies just about anywhere – like in their own bedroom, the kitchen, backyard – you name it! They’ll know they’ve captured a fairy when one suddenly appears on their screen.
And, of course, like so many collectible toys of sorts there are some ultra-rare fairies to be on the hunt for. They’ll find them by playing additional games and even bringing their jar to new and exciting locations. Here’s the breakdown on what will come with each jar:
- Look for (and find) a minimum of 30 virtual fairies per level.
- There are 4 different levels of play in each jar.
- So, in total, they can discover more than 100 fairies in all!
Your kiddos can even trade fairies with their friends by simply tipping their magical jars together. And did we mention you can even talk to your fairies and they’ll answer back? Say hello to your magical fairy and they’ll say hello right back! You can also play with them, feed them, hug them, love them, and more. Let’s see how long before they stop talking to their fairies altogether. Just us?
Currently in Series 1 (we’re already hearing about a Series 2), there are 3 different jars to choose from:
- Blue
- Pink
- Glow in the Dark
So, overall, is it worth it? We gotta say yes! We love how they’re combining virtual play with actual activities and it’s really perfect for the imagination in the little ones too. The recommended age starts at 5 years old and up.

Got2Glow Fairy Finder is being released into the wild (store shelves and online) officially on December 1st – just in time for the insanity that is the holiday rush.
