There are a few things that you need to know in order to make the perfect cup of coffee using a French press. First, you need to start with fresh, cold water. The water should be filtered if possible, as this will make a big difference in the taste of your coffee. Next, you need to use coarsely ground coffee. The grounds should be about the size of peppercorns.
