To be honest, finding the right mattress can be an absolute nightmare 83.5% of the time. Since they’re usually so expensive it seems like you’re trying to make a 10 year decision about something that can run you anywhere from $500 – $2500 in about a ten minute timeframe. Did we mention we have issues with commitment?

Either way, we recently bought our first adult mattress from Mattress Firm by going to their store and testing a bunch of them out. We bought one right on the spot and we totally loved it (it was the iSerta Comfort Memory Foam). Once it was time to get another one for the guest bedroom we just went to their website, found the same one, and purchased it immediately. Overall our experience of buying online was pretty seamless and their delivery folks were great. They showed up with gloves on, little red booties over their shoes, and they even placed a little red carpet in front of our door when they made the delivery. We paid a little extra for them to remove the old mattress, which was helpful because how were we going to actually get rid of that?!
The Deal With the Deals:
Like we mentioned we really lucked out with our last order because we made the purchase on Black Friday where we saved a ton. But if you’re thinking you need to wait for a special holiday to score a good deal you may not need to. A newly released report shows that now may actually be the best time to grab a new mattress. So give it a shot!

Mattress Firm does, in fact, have coupons and promo codes – but only when you shop directly from their own website. We don’t have any here (sorry!) as they don’t give them out off-site. However, if you’re looking for a discount code be sure to check their homepage where (at the very top) they’ll let you know any offers for the day they have (and the code you can use at checkout) and even their sales page, which will lay everything out right here.
When we were shopping, we were able to get an extra $50 off when we subscribed to their emails. They sent over the $50 code we could use on our purchase, which really helped. Always check with them first, however, to see which offers are still valid. They’re usually really good about it.
