We first heard about LilySilk when we were researching some major sales on silk pillowcases last Labor Day (yes, really, that’s a thing). We read a bunch of independent reviews and noticed they were considered the must-have by some major publishers like Refinery29, so we knew we couldn’t go wrong with giving them a try. We’ll get into all of the details below but, um, this was pretty much a game-changer for us. If you haven’t tried them yet, your mind is about to be blown!
Silk everything is still a trend that’s going strong this year when it comes to buzzy areas like anti-aging and beauty. Now, we don’t fall in either of those categories but…eh…who are we kidding? Anti-aging? We’re willing to try it all to help reverse the hands of time on our face.
There are a lot of claims that silk pillowcases, eye masks, (and more) can help with wrinkles, help with your hair, your complexion and more. But is any of that true? We consulted with a Registered Nurse who looked into it for the folks at Healthline and, apparently, it’s pretty much true. There actually are some benefits that include things like:
- Help reduce friction on your hair, which can prevent damage and drying it out. Plus, goodbye bedhead!
- It can help not dry out your skin.
- It can help people with acne and help prevent breakouts while you sleep.
Some even say it can help reduce and even prevent some wrinkling and lines due to how you sleep and what kind of sleeper you are. The point is, we were all in and there’s no shame in our game so we were happy to buy ourselves one of their silk pillowcases to give it all a whirl.
The main takeaway is that after sleeping with it for a few week we did notice that we weren’t waking up with ultra dry skin. We’re prone to be dry, especially in the winter. Now, we also use moisturizers from places like Lumin and even from Kiehl’s, so maybe that just happened to help too. It’s too early to say if we’ve noticed less wrinkles, but we definitely have woken up with far less creases on our face from sleep. And bedhead? Well, that was way more tame too. Overall, we love it.
But, LilySilk has way (way, way, way) more than just silk pillowcases. They also have sleep masks, boxer shorts, panties, shirts, pajamas, scrunchies, robes, and so much more. So if you were ready to try your hand at this silk craze, we def recommend to give them a shot. Oh, there’s also always some type of sale going on so you could even save up to 30% off depending on what you’re buying. Worth it!
The Deal With the Deals:
Like we mentioned, yeah, there are a ton of deals right on their site depending on what you’re looking for. And you don’t have to wait until Black Friday or Cyber Monday so save big. From our analysis, during their normal sales events you can save anywhere from 20% – 30% off their original prices – which is more than helpful!
You can check out all of their current sales happening today right here!
The Deal With Promo Codes:
Always one of the biggest questions we get. While we don’t work for them we can say that, no, LilySilk does not have coupons or promo code offers for third party websites. We don’t offer any here either. Of course, we check the normal sites that list out discount codes and we came up empty handed. Sure there are plenty of them listed, but none seemed to work. Therefore, we recommend not wasting your time!
On a lighter note, LilySilk does have some cool promo offers for their new or current customers. You have to shop directly on their site in order to take advantage, but recently we’ve seen offers like taking 10% off for email signup, a $20 refer a friend program, and even 10% if you subscribe to their text messages. As always, go with them directly to check and see which offers may still be valid. Check them out here!
