We have, literally, been waiting our entire life for an interactive Fozzie Bear that will put our old Tickle Me Elmo to shame. Now our wish has been granted and your kids will definitely want to add this to their Christmas list this year!
We couldn’t love Fozzie Bear any more than we do. It’s not too much to say that growing up he totally shaped our life and who we are as a person. Fozzie never gave up (ever) especially when it came to his stand-up routine. He’d tell jokes that would bomb, would get actual tomatoes thrown at him, and he’d keep going back for more time and time again. A Muppet message of “never give up” is something every kid needs and, well, now that message can be reintroduced into their world!
The new Disney Junior Muppet Babies ‘Wocka Wocka’ Fozzie is about to hit store shelves and is now being named as one of the new ‘must have toys’ of the upcoming holiday season. Personally, we’re adding it to the very top of our list. Here’s what we know (and love) to far.
What Does Fozzie Actually Do?
This cute little plush toy is actually totally interactive and, well, not that little! Fozzie measures in at about 1-foot (12-inches) tall and is totally cuddly, cute, funny, and so much more.
- Fozzie is totally interactive (just like Elmo!)
- Simply press his hand/bear paw and it’ll active cool lights and really fun sounds.
- He’ll tell funny jokes (or at least jokes he thinks is funny).
- He’ll even sing a song from the show that your kids will love (and, sure, you’ll get a little sick of over time).
- Fozzie Bear even wiggles all around when he laughs (which is often)
- His tie lights up when he laughs, which your kiddos will get a kick out of.
What’s the Price This Season?
We were actually a bit surprised on how affordable this one was. The suggested retail price is listed at just $19.99. We’re used to interactive toys ranging anywhere from $49.99 to $79.99 so this one was totally refreshing.
When is the Release Date?
Fozzie is being released to the public just in time for your holiday shopping on October 18, 2018. But hurry, because they’re likely to sell out fast!
Can I Pre Order him?
Right now he appears to be an exclusive to Target and, at this time, they’re not offering pre-order options. As always, you can check the stock (and price) over at eBay, but you may end up spending more.
