We started playing with LEGOs way back when we were about 3 years old. At that age they were giant blocks and we basically just built a multi-color wall.As time when on and our imagination expanded we started building a functioning city that took up the entirety of our parents dining room table. It even had a McDonald’s!
We never really knew how expensive our “hobby” was, but it made sense that we typically only received our biggest LEGO sets on our birthday or the holidays. Who knew they could be so expensive?! Well, our parents did. Back then there wasn’t an easy easy way find the best deals, but now you can easily hop online and with a few clicks you can find the latest promo, pre-order some future releases, snag a coupon code or two, and find some really helpful discounts during certain times of the year.
Overall, the LEGO Shop doesn’t have a ton of sales throughout the year. Their biggest events are typically Black Friday through Cyber Monday and then on May 4th they’ve had some pretty amazing Star Wars deals (May the 4th be with you).
