Our Take:
Are we shaving experts? Yes. We’ve been shaving since we were 16 (late bloomers) so if our math is correct we’ve basically shaved 99 gazillion times. But, as we got older we took more pride in how we shave and what we shave with. Enter, The Art of Shaving. They’re a total game-changer and they have so many grooming essentials, they really make excellent gifts (more on that later).

We used to walk over to Columbus Circle in NYC during our lunch break when we were at work (remember going to work?) and we always popped into The Art of Shaving. They had a ton of different razors, gift sets, shaving creams, and way more than you’d think.
Well, since we have’t been into an actual office for about 12-months, we miss visiting them. We really do! Lucky for us their online store is actually really decent. And it was super helpful when we were scratching our head trying to figure out what to gift some really picky people on our gifting this recent (read: dad).
What we really about them, outside of the quality of their products, is how they’re dedicated to helping all of us totally up our grooming game. And, to be honest, in a world where we were used to moving so, so fast it’s nice to take a step back, slow things down, and take care of ourselves a bit more.
Now, you can totally find some of their best sellers online at retailers like Nordstrom and, of course, Bloomingdale’s and even Saks Fifth Avenue. We’re regular shoppers of Nordstrom. But we actually recommend to check out A/S on their own site because there’s a ton of selection, genius gift ideas, and from time to time they’ll even have an offer to take an extra 10% – 15% off (once in a while).

The Deal With the Deals:
Ok, ok. So here’s the deal with the deals. When we analyzed their site there aren’t a ton of sales. We’ve had some luck, again, on some deals when shopping over at Nordstrom – but those aren’t happening all the time either.
One of their biggest sales of the year had been from Black Friday through Cyber Monday. That’s where we saw 20% off most everything, which always comes in handy especially when you’re just starting your holiday shopping.
A pro tip is to actually subscribe to their newsletter because they’ll email you when there’s a promo sale about to take place so that you don’t miss out on any of their upcoming sales.
