July Luggage is taking the US by storm and we totally understand why! They have some of the coolest travel pieces and accessories for a fraction of the price as so many others. We’re digging into some of their travel pieces, ways to save when you bundle, and what the real-deal is with their promo code policy (plus, how to get free shipping) – all updated in October 2022!
JULY LUGGAGE IS A TRAVEL GAME-CHANGER
…no, but for real.
In a sea of dark colored suitcases and carry-ons it’s totally refreshing to see all the cool styles and colors the July luggage brand currently offers. From magenta and marigold yellow to sky blue and monochome there really is something for every person and every personality. The best part? Many of their travel pieces and accessories are less than some of their main competitors.
We’ve covered our love of Away Travel here and while they are comparable, many who have independently reviewed both brands say that – overall – July has the edge. Outside of the price, what makes July a bit different (in all the right ways) is that their Research and Development team has scoured through thousands and thousands of luggage reviews to see what people were most pissed about (to be frank) and then added the features that were lacking on most other brands. For example, they’ve done things like:
- Reinforced corners and bends of their luggage so they can last longer without cracks and breaks.
- Created a handle that has 3 different heights to choose from making it easier to wheel around based on your height.
- Wheels that can last a lifetime even with insanely hard use.
- 5 year warranty and 100 day return policy.
When it comes to what they offer there really is plenty (and we mean plenty) to choose from. You can go with their most popular suitcases, carry-ons to be checked or stowed, travel trunks, weekender bags, backpacks, totes, phone cases, toiletry bags, packing cells, luggage tags and a ton more. You can typically even personalize everything by adding text (like your name – or whatever) emojis, and more.
So, if you’re officially ready to upgrade and entire set of luggage, just want a new carry-on that’s made to last, or looking to gift someone for their birthday, Christmas, or wedding we strongly recommend taking a look at July!
JULY TRAVEL SALES & PROMO CODES SITUATION
While highly reviewed as a must-have for all of us here in the US, after digging around for a bit we haven’t seen a lot of sales on July Luggage. They will have deals like getting free personalization (typically a $50 value) or even standard shipping in the US.
We did uncover a pretty decent sale on their luggage during Black Friday (into Cyber Monday) where the more you spent the more you got off. For example:
- Spend $300 and Get $30 Off
- Spend $600 and Get $100 Off
- Spend $1000 and Get $200 Off
This sale really comes in handy when you’re either prepping for some amazing Christmas gifts or are just ready to upgrade your luggage set.
If you’re looking to save even more with a prized discount code or coupon, we researched this for a while. Like, an odd amount of time. So here’s the deal. July does accept promo codes at checkout (they call them “discount codes”), but either way you can type yours in when you’re checking out. However, they don’t really give these out often. And most sites that claim to have all kinds of codes, seem a little suspect to us. The editors at USA Today have a nice list of deals and promotions you can check out and you can never really go wrong with July’s Facebook page where they’ll list out any coupons or offers they may have this month.
When it comes to promo offers, we’ve created a short list below of some of their helpful ways to save, whether you’re looking for free shipping, free customization or even want to save up to $100 off your luggage – it’s all below!
