Our Take:
How come every time we watch anything on HGTV we’re ready to knock down a wall, slap up some shiplap, or build a front porch? You know, on a whim. Either way, when it comes to any kind of home improvement project (from building something to home decór updates) our go-to has always been The Home Depot. They carry all the major brands we’re looking for, are totally trustworthy, competitively priced, and typically answer the dozens of questions we always have every time we go into the store.
Just as a matter of preference, we prefer Home Depot over Lowes. Not that there are any issues with Lowes, but we’ve just had more luck at Home Depot. We’re definitely not pros when it comes to remodeling or basically any real project around the house. We always think we can do it, but it used to always end up in a fail of some sort. They’ve recently added a “DIY Projects + Ideas” section on their site where you can drill down to the type of project you plan on trying and then watch a corresponding video or an actual pro working on the project and they’ll even provide a buying guide to you know what supplies to pick up and even how much this overall project will run you. It’s been a total came changer.
That’s the real difference with Home Depot and some others out there. It’s like they actually want to help you succeed and, well, we’re here for it!
