I’m obsessed with just about all of my Gaiam yoga mats, but did you know they have more than just that? I’ll walk you through some of their best sellers, new arrivals, and even a 20% promo offer they’re currently promoting.
My Personal Experience
Gaiam has been around for a while now and I’ve been using their yoga mats for years. They’re typically even named as some of the best mats out there, including a recent high-rated listing by The New York Times. I’m not a professional yogi, but whether I’m taking a class in my local studio or just doing it at home, I actually use my mat for a variety of different exercises. Plus, they look really cute too. You can check out their Insta for some additional inspiration.
A lot of people gravitate towards Gaiam because when it comes to mats they have a bunch of different “makes and models” that really do cater to all of your needs. If you have a latex allergy, like so many of us, there are still quite a few options for you too. Overall, their mat choices include:
- Latex Free
When it comes to thickness you can choose anywhere from 2mm all the way up to 15mm – and solid colors to fun prints.
I’ve recently reviewed CALIA by Carrie Underwood (fitness apparel) and I have to say I love Gaiam just as much. Outside of just yoga you can even check out other fitness essentials like: balance boards, standing mats, free-weights, resistance bands, foam rollers, meditation cushion, and even things for kids.
The only downside is that some of their stuff can be a bit on the pricer side, but you’re really paying for quality. And if you’ve purchased cheap yoga mats, you know what a waste of money they are. There are some ways you can save a bit (with and without promo and discount codes) and I’ll get into how I saved below.
How I Saved
This is probably my favorite part of shopping – finding the discounts. I researched Gaiam a lot and most people are looking for coupons to use in order to save. Of course, I totally get that. They do allow discount codes you can use when you’re in their checkout process, but if you’re using those sites that list out all sorts of codes you’re probably going to come up a bit short.
The good news is that I was able to take an extra 20% off my order with an official Gaiam coupon. The best way to do this? Subscribe to their emails. It takes like 5 seconds and once you enter in your email they’ll give you the 20% code.
Outside of that, they have a really decent referral program that I took part in. You’ll get a $15 credit when you refer a friend via email and they make a purchase. They’ll even give your friend 20% off once you refer them. The more you refer the more you’ll be able to put towards your next purchases. Check out how this $15 offer works here.
So take a look at some of the important areas of their site I put together below. It should help you out a bit. I’ll be updating the promos as new ones arise.
