Drop just may be one of the coolest tech-inspired companies we’ve come across in a while. And that’s saying a lot considering what total tech dorks we are. It’s officially time to check them out and see if they’re the right fit for you!
Our Take:
If you haven’t heard of them yet, but love some sleek AF tech gear and accessories – especially for gamers – you gotta check out Drop. They have a pretty extensive online following and, well, you’re about to become as hooked as we are!
Get $10 Off
We actually first came across Drop when we were trying to find a custom keycap set for our 10 year old nephew. TBH, we had no clue what keycaps were or why he wanted them, but we soon researched the heck out of them and it made total sense. That’s where we learned that Drop was basically the leader in that tech space, but we started to realize they had more than just that and, suddenly, we were intrigued.
Outside of stuff our nephew loves, there were some really cool must-haves for us as well. They have a bunch of really cool and high quality gaming headsets, full on keyboards, wireless earbuds that make your AirPods look super lame, wireless on-ear headphones, and so much more. They have some really sweet partnerships, too, with major players like Sennheiser and MiTo just to name two.
While so much of their merch is relatively affordable there are, of course, some items that are pretty pricey. Things like keycaps are doable. Some of the headphones can get a little high. They’re pretty much on par with other sites, but still. If you’re looking to save a little you should check out their refurbished section where you can get some pricey items for upwards of 40% off their original price. These are items that have been repaired, restored, and tested a ton and are basically like new again, but at a much lower price.
So whether you’re looking for a way to upgrade your own gaming world or are looking for something unique for someone else, we definitely recommend checking out Drop. Totally worth it. We just wish we weren’t so late to the game!
The Deal With the Deals:
So here’s the deal. From our research we haven’t found a ton of sale taking place over at Drop. Of course there’s been the major Black Friday into Cyber Monday sale which, let’s be honest, is amazing.
Unfortunately there’s not really a main sale section like some other sites have where you can see all their deals of the day. However, by checking out their shop or new arrivals you’ll see which items are listed on sale. And, like we mentioned, you can usually get a pretty great deal in their refurbished section. You’ll most likely be out of luck. Drop doesn’t really have coupons or promo code they’re handing out to other sites. We, unfortunately, don’t have any here either. And, word to the wise, if you see codes on some other sites just be wary that they’ll most likely not work.
While offers are always changing and never guaranteed, we did find that you can typically take an extra $10 off if you subscribe to their newsletter.
