I was first introduced to DefenAge a few months back when I went in for my very first microdermabrasion facial. I’ve never had a facial before in my life and felt like it was time. I want to chat about it because I feel like guys don’t talk about this a lot. Since I’m not of a certain age (how dare you), I was told about their 8-in-1 Bioserum and how it was really a game-changer when it came to helping to reduce the look of fine lines, wrinkles, pores, and more. All the areas I could use some help with.
Honestly, due to the price I decided to pass. But once I went in for a Plasma Pen treatment on my face (around my eyes, 11 lines, and forehead) they strongly recommended I use the Bioserum while my face was recovering. Total game-changer. For real. Where has this been all my life!?
Not only did it make my face feel amazing (and definitely helped it heal), overall it smoothed out my skin, definitely made my pores (especially around my nose and cheeks) appear way smaller, but it did help to lessen the look of all those little fine lines that the plasma pen didn’t get.

Like I said, DefenAge is expensive. At least for me. They’re definitely not your drugstore brand, so be prepared to shell out some cash. I feel like it’s totally worth it and has worked for me. While I did purchase mine directly from the med spa, they actually have some great ways to save (up to 25% off) directly from their own site and they even have some official discount promo codes to help incentivize you. While I totally understand you may not want to take a guys point-of-view for beauty advice, DefenAge has also been named as one of the best moisturizer brands of the year by a little magazine called Vogue. Perhaps you’re familiar? And they were even awarded the Non-Surgical Innovator of the Year.
Regardless of their awards and write-ups from beauty bloggers, I always like to see actual before-and-after photos to see what things actually look like. Of course, I always take these with a grain of salt but I have to say I was really impressed. Although I’m too shy to submit my own photos! Do They Ever Go on Sale?If you’re trying to save a bit (I get it) you may want to wait until they go on sale. And, yes, they actually do have sales. Outside of their regular on-site discounts, after a bit of research I found that they’ve had a major Black Friday sale where you could get an extra 65% off your second purchase. It was basically a Buy 1 Get a 2nd for 65% Off. This is no joke. 65% off is insane so, if you can do it, it’s the perfect time to stock up and save.
This is really the only sale they have so, to me, they’re similar to La Mer, Hanacure, and even Rihanna’s beauty brand Fenty where when there is an annual sale, you really gotta shop it!
Do They Offer Coupons or Promo Codes?So, yeah, while many people think that such a high-end brand like DefenAge would never have discount codes, they actually do. And, you know what, they’re not secret about it either. Now, you’re not going to find a code for 50% off (duh!), but they have a variety of promo codes you can use at checkout for things like free shipping and even a decent refer-a-friend discount.
If I could give you one piece of advice, I would strongly recommend signing up for a free account. Buying without one just doesn’t make sense. When you signup for an account you can get up to 25% off each product and get free shipping at the same time. Plus, they’ll keep you in the loop on new products arriving, exclusive offers, and even any of their official coupons that they’ll send directly to you. It’s all worth it.
