As you know, one of our favorite brands it YETI. We own just about everything they offer (including their dog bowl – in navy blue), so we wanted to look into the ever-popular question surrounding YETI offering discounts for students and teachers (and bears, oh my!). Let’s answer this once and for all!
So, we’re not going to make you scroll through endless paragraphs just to get this answer. In the beginning (back when Jesus was born?), YETI did offer a military discount code that was specific to – you guessed it – those in the military.

Since then (and especially during and post-pandemic) they’ve expanded their discounts to a wide variety of everyday heroes. Here’s their official list of who is eligible for their own 10% discount.

As always, we’ll continue to monitor different offers YETI is running (or not running). As you know they don’t really have things like promo codes or coupons (doh!), but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a one-off YETI sale from time to time. We try to keep track of all of this, especially when it’s gift-giving time and we’re trying to save a bit.
So, when it comes to their actualapproved discount codes they use the ID ME program so if you’re one of the eligible groups above you just have to get verified once (it’s easy) and then you’re good to go with discounts on so many of their most popular items. Of course, there are some restrictions like brand new items aren’t eligible and either is anything with one of their new colors, things that are labeled limited edition, or customized. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING TO KNOW
While it may seem tempting, youcannot share your discount with family or friends. It’s strictly prohibited and if caught (Jesus is watching) they can suspend your access. So, just don’t share it with anyone and you’re good to go!
