Our Take:
We’ve been getting our tickets from StubHub for more than a decade (yes, really) and we’ve honestly never been disappointed once. For us, the biggest thing when shelling out some extra cash for concert or sports tickets is the trust-factor. We’ve Google’d events in the past, purchased them fromsome sites/brands we never heard of because the tickets were cheap and ended up getting burnt in the end. Our exception to the rule is Ticketmaster – who we spear by as well. It’s always a good idea to shop around and compare prices, just make sure it’s ticket sellers that are 100% tried-and-true. And that’s Stub Hub for us.

It’s pretty safe to say that most of us haven’t been to a concert, sporting event, Broadway performance (in forever) or any event for that matter in quite some time. You really don’t know how much you miss it until it’s gone. We also missed the anticipation of the event. We used to basically plan our entire summer around concerts, baseball games, and the occasional comedy show or two.
The good news is that StubHub has all that and so much more and their prices are pretty decent as well. Of course, ticket prices are basically always crazy so we’re not going to pretend you’re going to find any front row seats for cheap. Perhaps our favorite thing about their service is their commitment to their customers and their official “Fan Protect” Guarantee. According to their site:
If your event is canceled and not rescheduled, you will receive a credit worth 120% of the amount you paid for the impacted event. And get valid tickets to any event or your money back!”
We always feel so much better about that because, for some reason, buying online always seems like a high-pressure situation for some reason. This keeps us calm and totally secure.
So, whether you’re holding out for those Billie Eilish tickets, planning on heading to Vegas to see one of your favorite performers at their residency, or just simply want to see your MLB team play on a Sunday afternoon, you really can’t go wrong with StubHub – especially with their Fan Protect guarantee!
The Deal With the Deals:
You can definitely find some deals and low pricing on their site for sure, but if you’re looking for a traditional sale you may be out of luck. We wish we had better news for you but, alas, we came up short. We do, however, recommend to subscribe to their emails because that’s how you’ll know about any last minute or future sales or deals they may have.
The Deal With Promo Codes:
This is one question we get regularly and while some sites claim to have promo codes, we’re going to give it to you straight (no chaser). StubHub does allow buyers to enter a promo code or coupon on their site while you’re checking out. They don’t however, provide discount codes to other sites. For example, we don’t have any exclusive offers here at all. We will let you know some offers they’re running from time to time on their own site.
Your best bet is to always just shop them direct on their own site and, as always, sign up with your email address so that you’ll always be in the loop on upcoming promo offers or deals they have taking place. And this way you’ll always know they’re valid, working, and active. Don’t waste time anywhere else.
