Our Take:
We have a really odd obsession with just about everything outdoors – whether it be camping, heading to the beach, going for a hike, or just having friends and fam over in the backyard for an impromptu BBQ. We always love to have our favorite drinks on ice and have spent more than we’d care to admit on coolers over the years. But all that changed for us once we have RTIC a chance and – to be honest – we’re not sure we’ve ever going back to any other brand!
Rarely to we cover a brand as part of our Trendy AF series but, we felt like we needed to let you all know just how amazing they are and, quite frankly, how you may just be missing out if you haven’t given then a shot yet.
RTIC has some of the best hard and soft coolers that we’ve ever used. And, yes, you know we are 100% just as obsessed with all things YETI. However, in our opinion, RTIC is pretty much the same amazing quality, but at a way more approachable price-point (for us, at least). Their hard coolers actually start at only $139 and if you’ve bought from some other brands, you know they’re charging in the mid $200 range (if not mid $300-range).
What we love about them best is that they have so many different options based on our outdoor needs. Don’t worry, they also offer some really great color choices, too, because that’s also pretty important to us (you can never go wrong with their cool blue or seafoam green selection!).

The Deal With Their Deals:
There’s a lot of talk online about RTIC never really having sales or deals. We looked into this and, honestly, that’s not really true! We’ve seen some pretty major sales in the past during big events like Black Friday, Cyber Monday and even Father’s Day. And while they do not currently have an entire sale section of their site, when you click on different categories, they’ll show you which items in that category have been marked down. At last look you can save anywhere from 20% – 30% (on average) on some of their top sellers.
And while you can find some additional deals at other trusted retailers that sometimes carry them – like on Amazon, over at Walmart, online at Bed Bath & Beyond, or even at Dicks Sporting Goods – the best place we’ve seen the savings is just directly on their own site.
The Deal With Promo Codes:
This is always a popular question so we decided to look into it a bit. You may not love the answer, but we’re always going to be truthful here to you. Unfortunately, RTIC doesn’t give out promo code offers or coupons to other websites (at all) and we don’t have any of our own here either.
The good news, however, is that they do accept discount codes during check out and – at times – if you sign up for their fun newsletter they’ll send you any exclusive promo offers they have directly to you.
