It doesn’t matter the season, Vilebrequin isalways a good idea. I’m covering them from a men’s swimwear perspective, but they have way more than just that. This month, I’ll take a look at their new arrivals, best sellers, and the deal with the whole coupon situation to see if you can really save a bit on your online order.
Vilebrequin is a brand that’s been around since 1971 (finally something older than me!) and still continues to grow and innovate to this day. In 2000 they debuted their signature sea-turtle logo that is now always tied to the brand. While they are a bit on the expensive side, you can’t argue with the quality and style of all of their clothing. Andyes they have more than just swim trunks. Everything they create always has one thing in common – it’s inspired by the spirit of 1970’s St. Tropez.
I’m a huge fan of their bathing suits and have frequently listed them as one of the top must-haves of the summer. From bright greens and aqua blues to fun turtle prints, starfish, and solids – there’s really something for every guy. Most of their trunks come in a variety of styles and lengths, so if you don’t want to go the short-short route, you can still aim towards more of a boardshort length.
I’ve owned my favorite pair of turtle trunks for the past 4 years and they’ve stood up against the test of time. I love finding a bargain when I can, so I researched this a bit to see exactly what was up with their coupon code policy, if one exists, how their sales work, and what was up with the rumor of Vilebrequin online outlet store.

When it comes to promo codes and the like, Vilebrequin does accept them when you checkout. So that’s good. After that there’s really not much to report. I found that they currently are offering a pretty great 15% off coupon that they’ll email directly to you once you subscribe to their newsletter. You’ll be able to use that code on your first purchase. But signing up for their emails is still the best way to stay on top of any additional coupons they may send out in the future.
Other than that, it’s going to be tough to find them on sale. Even during the standard Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend it’s tough to find a site-wide sale going on, but I’ll continue to monitor this and keep you updated.
However, the rumoris true that they’re going to open an online outlet store. The timing still isn’t confirmed, but you can add in your email address and they’ll alert you once it’s opened and ready to go! Sign up for that notification here.
Overall, you can typically find official Vilebrequin apparel at top retailers like Sak’s Fifth Avenue (there’s a promo code for them here) and, of course, Bloomingdale’s (you can snag a coupon from them here). I prefer to shop direct on the Vilebrequin site, however, because they have the largest selection and the newest arrivals. You can’t go wrong.
