   I am so glad that Patrick posted this news item. 2 or 3 months ago, there were lots of news items about how Tom Cruise was inundating his wife with flowers. The stories all talked about how they were so great because they could keep their romance alive and vital for so long (unlike all of us losers out there). I recall that Tom was filming in some far-away place (India sounds right, but I am too lazy to check), and he said that he sent her lots and lots of flowers every day because they were so in love. At the time I thought it sounded really weird and that there had to be something going on, but I was thinking that it had to do with her discovering something about his sexual orientation. It was all so hokey, and I find it interesting that my BS meter does not need any recalibrating.

   re CM: what is it with Cruise and the flowers? Your post reminded me of him telling Oprah, not long before the Kidman split, that he surprises Nicole with roses.

   I am really ashamed for writing this. However, TC better move soon or his coming out’s gonna be as nothing as George Takei’s.
