New England Patriots 16-0 Perfect Record. Eat THAT Briget Moynahan!

Bridget Moynahan may have tried to curse the Patriots until the cows came home. She even got herself knocked up…probably as a way to mess with Tom Brady’s head. I’m sure the Colts paid her to do so. Regardless, it didn’t work, as last night my New England Patriots just finished a perfect season. Perfect, you know, kinda like how Jessica Alba was to me before she too got knocked up.

Anyway, I may live in New York now, but I was lucky enough to be able to watch the game in Boston last night. There’s nothing like watching your team make history in your home town. Here’s what went down:

Pats became the first team to go 16-0 in the regular season (sidenote, Yankees suck)
Tom Brady broke the record for the most touchdowns in the regular season (last night he passed Payton Manning).
Randy Moss broke the record for the most touchdown receptions in a season with 23 (Jerry Rice held the record with 22).
The Pats scored a record setting 589 points this season (they beat out the Vikings who had 556 back in 1998).

The Giants put up a good game, but in the end the Pats won 38-35 and now have 2 weeks off before the real games begin. Bridget Moynahan also has 2 weeks to perfect her next attempt at cursing the Patriots. Nice try Moynahan. Nice try.

Gisele Bundchen has it all over Jessica Simpson.

Tom Brady [stats]’s glamazon galpal cheered on her pigskin prince as he broke records and made history in Giants Stadium the other night, unlike Miss Thang, whose boytoy Tony Romo stunk up the joint when she attended a Dallas Cowboys game!

Gi, as usual, was stealthy at the one-for-the-ages Patriots [team stats]-Giants tilt, where New England ended its regular season 16-0. She took in the game from an eighth-floor luxury suite in the Meadowlands. Out of sight, out of mind . . .

On the other hand, Simpson, tricked out in a pink Romo football jersey, got lots of face time Dec. 16 on FOX during the Cowboys’ 10-6 loss to the Eagles. During the game, Romo threw three interceptions but not one touchdown pass. And he hurt his thumb. Boo hoo.

After the pathetic performance at Texas Stadium, Simpson came under fire from Romo’s teammate and locker-room loudmouth Terrell Owens, who told the Dallas Morning News that that Miss Daisy Duke was “not a fan favorite” in Dallas and that, “I think a lot of people feel like she’s probably taking Romo’s focus away.”

Later, T.O. said he was just kidding around and apologized to Romo’s new squeeze.

Now, back to Giants Stadium . . .

There were unconfirmed reports that Brady’s son, 4-month-old, John, was spotted being held by Grandpa Tom Brady Sr. on the sidelines before the Patriots took the field Saturday night.

The Tom-obsessed bloggers claim that the Brady Bunch had two babies and other tykes – all sporting No. 12 jerseys – on the sidelines and then up in the skybox. But one infant stayed in Grandpa’s arms all night long. Many of the Brady bloggers believe it was little John.

But friends of the QB/QT claim they would be “shocked” if Tom’s pigskin progeny was there without his Mommy, Brady’s ex-lady Bridget Moynahan. B, however, was spotted in the Apple over the weekend with two male pals backstage at the Second Stage Theatre, where they congratulated Bill Pullman on his performance in Edward Albee’s “Peter and Jerry.”
